Coordinated through the Student Activities Office, the many student-run organizations at Marymount fulfill the cultural, intellectual, social, and recreational interests of the campus community.

The campus Activities Board (CAB) is the programming board for Marymount College, responsible for bringing quality, collegiate entertainment to the campus. During the year, CAB has been responsible for bringing top- notch comedians, musicians, guest lecturers and interactive programs and events to the Marymount community.

Additionally, CAB is responsible for coordinating traditional Mixers and events like Oktoberfest, Autumn Soiree, SpringFest and the annual Marymount Talent Show, featuring the extremely popular Battle of the Classes.

CAB also programs events off-campus for those students who wish to venture out to stops like Woodbury Commons, Ice-skating, Midnight Bowling and our extremely popular Saturday Excursion to Broadway series, sending our students with discounted tickets to shows like The Producers and Rent.

Currently, CAB meets on biweekly Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. in the Student Leadership Center in Rita Hall, which serves as the traditional student union on the Marymount campus, situated next to the innovative PepsiCo Concert Hall and Music and Drama departments. The center is also located on the same floor as Cafe Eclipse, home of the extremely popular Acoustic Thursdays series, and one floor down from the Rita Main Banquet Hall.

CAB committees are chaired by interested Marymount Students, who wish to bring quality programming to the campus.

CAB Committees include:

  • Special Events @ Marymount Committee
  • Music Committee
  • Saturday Excursions and Beyond
  • Harvest Parent Weekend Committee
  • Oktoberfest Committee
  • Autumn Soiree Committee
  • Spirit Week Committee
