ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Based on Ray Bradbury’s classic work of science fiction, this adaptation of The Martian Chronicles uses music, puppetry, and live actors to tell the story of Earth’s conquest of Mars through a series of thematically related episodes that explore issues of identity and attitudes towards “the other”
– themes that speak as much to today’s world as they did to Bradbury’s 1950s audience.
This project will launch the Fordham Alumni Company, whose goal is to promote Fordham as a preeminent Jesuit institution and vibrant place to study theatre, as well as to serve as a magnet for alumni talent across generations.
