Exit Loan Counseling
If you have borrowed under the Federal Subsidized/Unsubsidized and/or Graduate PLUS programs while at Fordham, it is a federal regulation that you complete an Exit Counseling Session. This allows you to view a summary of all your federal loans, including the principal balance and any accrued interest, as well as up-to-date servicing information for each of your loans. This information is critical because the loan you borrowed may now be collected through a different holder from the time you borrowed.
We encourage students with loans services through more than one servicer to consider consolidation through the Federal Direct Loan Consolidation program. A consolidation loan can help manage the repayment process because you will only have one point of contact for your federal loans. More information on Federal Direct Loan may be found at
