Payment Procedures

Making Payments on Student Accounts

Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, money order, automated clearing house (ACH) transactions, and credit card (with restrictions). Payment may be submitted as described below in person, or via mail, the web, telephone, or wire transfer.

In person at the Enrollment Services office at Rose Hill, Lincoln Center, or Westchester:

Cash, checks, or money orders will be accepted for all payments.
Credit cards will be accepted for students attending all other schools in payment of charges other than tuition, room & board, technology fee and general fee.
Credit cards will be accepted in payment of charges other than tuition, room & board, technology fee and general fee.

Payment of excluded charges by credit card will be accepted only using the services of a third party processor, PhoneCharge, which charges a fee (the greater of $1.00 or 2.65%) for that service. Visitors will be referred to either my.fordham.edu or the toll-free PhoneCharge number, 877-903-9328, to pay excluded charges by credit card. Credit card and ACH transactions will be accepted on the web using my.fordham.edu.

ACH is a means to transfer funds electronically from your checking account directly to the University

Login to my.fordham.edu using your AccessIT ID.
Follow the instructions in the My Account section.
On the Select Billing Term pull-down menu, select the term for which you are most recently registered.
You must be registered for the term you are selecting.
Review your account summary.

To make a payment by credit card, click Credit Card Payment:

Students attending FCLS or CBA-evening, or Summer Session may pay any charges and will not incur a service fee.

Students attending all other schools and paying for tuition, room & board, technology fee or general fee will be linked directly to PhoneCharge to make their credit card payments. PhoneCharge receives a fee (the greater of $1.00 or 2.65%) billed to your credit card.

Students making payments for charges other than tuition, room & board, technology fee or general fee will not incur the service fee.

On the telephone:

All students (regardless of school, semester, or charges being paid) incur the service fee for payments made through PhoneCharge.
Students can call the toll-free, PhoneCharge number directly at 877-903-9328. Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Click here for PhoneCharge's customer service information.
Students may also transfer to PhoneCharge from FASTR 1841, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
PhoneCharge payments normally are posted to the student account within two business days of the call.
Students attending FCLS or CBA-evening, or Summer Session, or who are making payments other than tuition, room & board, technology fee and general fee, may call the Enrollment Services Office directly at 718-817-5065 during normal business hours. An Enrollment Services representative will process your credit card payment with no service fee.
