Robert J. O’Shea, GABELLI ’87, PAR, and Michele K. O’Shea, FCRH ’88, PAR
Bob and Michele O’Shea are co-founding benefactors of the O'Shea Center for Credit Analysis and Investment at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. They support many other Fordham programs and endeavors, as well as a variety of causes beyond the University, embracing the Jesuit ethic of service to humanity that they took to heart as undergraduates at Fordham.
Bob O’Shea is chairman of Silver Point Capital, a global investment firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut, that he co-founded in 2002 after serving for 10 years as a partner at Goldman Sachs. Michele O’Shea, founder of O’Shea Yoga, is a professional life coach who leads workshops on personal empowerment for women. Through the O’Shea Family Foundation, they have given to philanthropic organizations in the U.S. and abroad that support education, health, veterans, public safety, and the alleviation of poverty. At Fordham, where Bob O’Shea was a trustee from 2006 to 2012, they have contributed to scholarships, career services, track and field, and other athletics programs. The O’Shea Center for Credit Analysis and Investment, formally launched in 2022, bridges the gap between academia and financial markets to provide Fordham students with in-demand skills—as well as opportunities to serve and learn from others.
