Ram Van Early Arrival Program
Monday, August 19th to Friday, August 23rd
If you're interested in a student job at Ram Van, there's a tremendous end-of-summer opportunity! Every year, the Ram Van office holds a paid week-long training program that leads right into a job at the Ram Van office for the fall semester.
-
Move-in early! If you live in Fordham housing, you will be approved to move in Sunday, August 18th.
Money! Get paid for a week's training and begin the school year with a well-paying and convenient job.
Hands-on instruction! Our administrators are all experienced driving safety trainers. All "early arrivers" get one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction. By the week's end, you'll be a pro at driving a 15-passenger van all over New York City.
-
Get behind the wheel: You'll receive hours of hands-on training. Participants receive one-on-one instruction on how to drive with the highest standard of safety & passenger comfort.
Certified Instruction: New drivers will take a National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course and attend lectures by Fordham's experts on sleep hygiene, time management, and conflict resolution.
Navigate NYC: By the end of the week, all participants will be able to drive to Lincoln Center, Fordham's Calder Center for Biological Research, and both New York City airports.
