General Information
The Office for International Services, in consultation with The Office of the Provost, reserves the right to choose the most appropriate visa category for our non-immigrant employees.
Though we will be able to answer general inquiries regarding your employment, The Office for International Services cannot begin working on your employment authorization until we have received an employment contract, signed by all parties, from .
The vast majority of our full-time instructional staff are offered H-1B status, unless extenuating circumstances prevents us from doing so (e.g. current or previous visa/status).
Before we begin the work authorization process, OIS will inform you of our intentions and discuss all aspects related to the process (including the visa category).
If you are a new foreign national full-time instructional faculty member that already has a signed contract, please complete the New Employee Questionnaire.
