Carl Majette

Carl Majette is a strategic and operational leader who works with product visionaries to grow companies. He has seven years of experience in the technology and financial industries.

Majette is a business operations manager at NerdWallet, where he focuses on building new consumer finance product experiences. Prior to this position, he was a product strategy manager at Linkedin, where he successfully managed cross-functional teams across growth, engagement, and monetization initiatives prioritized by the executive team. Before that, Majette was chief of staff at Square, where he also led business and corporate development.

Before making the move to Silicon Valley, Majette was a private equity investor at The Carlyle Group. He began his career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Majette continues to consult for fitness-related startups on their fundraising and marketing goals.

Majette is a native New Yorker, raised in Harlem and the Bronx. He graduated from Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business in 2008 and has been an Advisory Board member since 2014. Dedicated to the mission of career advancement for minorities, he is a mentor for both Management Leadership for Tomorrow and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity. He enjoys family time, Crossfit, snowboarding, Tahoe, New York sports teams, and traveling.
