Fordham University Summer Pre-Law Program

Program Dates

Taught by faculty experts in various areas of the law, this one-week intensive will introduce students to exciting legal subjects and provide mentorship on the law school admissions process. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet with Fordham Law School admissions officers as well as Fordham University alumni who are current or former students at Fordham Law School to gain insights on the law school experience. If you’re considering a future career in the law, this is your chance to meet leading practitioners from New York City and beyond, hear their experiences about the day-to-day practice of law – with bonus content on exciting, headline-making cases.

Daily Schedule

  • Mornings (9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.): Class sessions with faculty experts on fascinating legal subjects that are covered in law school.
  • Mid-day (12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.): Meet with the Gabelli School deans, the Gabelli School Pre-Law advisor, Fordham Law School admissions officers, and current and past Fordham Law School students for discussions on the path to a career in the law, from the moment you declare your major to the time you begin your law school career.
  • Afternoons (1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.): Explore careers in the law with leading practitioners in the field.

Payment information

  • The program cost is $750.
  • Program fee includes all academic materials.

Refund policy

  • Program fee is fully refundable prior to May 1
  • 80% refund will be issued for cancellations received between May 1 and May 31
  • Program fee is entirely non-refundable beginning June 1
