Zachary King joined the Gabelli School of Business in September 2022 as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University.
Professor King's research focuses on financial reporting and standard-setting issues arising for internally developed and acquired intangible assets. Professor King has presented his research at numerous conferences both domestically and internationally. His research also has been used by the Financial Accounting Standards Board in its deliberations about how to account for intangible assets acquired in a business combination.
Professor King teaches financial accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels and managerial accounting at the undergraduate level.
