Fundamental Lawyering Skills Faculty

During the course, your professor will guide you through a variety of experiences to prepare you for the real world of lawyering. You will learn skills both theoretically (through readings and discussions) and experientially (through demonstrations, exercises, stimulations, and writing assignments). The small class size allows your professor to give you extensive and individualized feedback throughout the semester.

The Fundamental Learning Skills faculty members are professionals with years of practice experience including both full-time and adjunct professors.

The Fundamental Lawyering Skills course allowed me to further develop my organizational and critical thinking skills and also encouraged the use of partners as an important tool to lawyering. The professional judgment I now use as a clinical student is the result of the FLS course.
