Graduate and Professional Student Ministry

If you are a graduate or professional student, we invite you to get involved in Campus Ministry. Since many graduate and professional students do not live on campus and have very diverse schedules, we need to hear from you about your interests. We will assist you in finding a spiritual director or a retreat that fits into your schedule. Due to the generosity of Theresa Mao, Fordham alum, we will be offering weekly.

Fordham's Christian Life Communities, or CLCs, are built upon the three pillars of faith, community and mission, and are a great way to nourish your faith, form lasting friendships and live out the gospel values!

You are invited to all our Sunday and daily Liturgies and other worship services. You are invited to be a Liturgical Minister or join the Liturgical environment committee. You might enjoy taking part in the forums we have to discuss contemporary issues, such as Common Grounds Conversations and Faith and Religous Traditions Programs.

If you are interested in service, please consider Pedro Arrupe Ministry (faith-based) or other opportunities through the Center for Community Engaged Learning.

Global Outreach welcomes graduate students to chaperone its many service projects and on-going Midnights Runs.

The following are retreats open to graduate students:

  • Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL)
  • Retreat for Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students (January and May)

If you would like to become Catholic or wish to be confirmed, please consider the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA).

If you have experienced a loss and are interested in bereavement counseling, we are here for you! If faith questions are a concern, you might be interested in having a pastoral conversation with one of our caring staff.

We look forward to hearing from you!
