Project Description: The team travels to the rural town of Colinas, in the state of Tocantins, which is in the northeastern section of Brazil. While in Brazil, the group collaborates with St. Sebastian's Parish to learn about their work in the community. Through the Parish's outreach efforts, the GO Brazil team learns about various efforts related to adequate housing, environmental sustainability, and programs for children. The team also has the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture and delve into the economic, social, and political history of the region and the country.
