Full-Time Physics Lecturer Position
The Department of Physics & Engineering Physics at Fordham University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer position beginning in Fall 2021. This position is for one year but has the possibility of renewal subject to program needs and budgetary approval. This fully benefited, union position requires teaching an equivalent of 4 courses per semester (8 courses total). Candidates will typically have a PhD in Physics or Applied Physics and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. We are especially interested in candidates who have been successful in teaching introductory physics courses and astronomy for non-majors, and those who have shown the ability to meet the needs of diverse student populations and who are committed to a student-centered and innovative pedagogical practice.
