A graduate business education represents significant investment. The Gabelli School has established scholarships to support outstanding students in the pursuit of their academic goals.
Exceptional applicants are considered for merit awards from $10,000 up to full tuition. Awards are based on superior academic and career achievement, varied and meaningful personal experiences, strong interpersonal skills, and leadership potential.
Gabelli School applicants automatically are considered for merit scholarships via their application for graduate admission. No additional application is required. Recipients are selected by the admissions committee and notified at the time of admission.
Scholarships vary based on academic program and applicant qualifications. Please read the information below to learn which options are available to you.
Dean’s Premier Scholarship
The Dean’s Premier Scholarship, the Gabelli School’s top scholarship package, is awarded to the most exceptional candidates admitted to the full-time MBA program.
Each Dean’s Premier Scholar receives full tuition and fees, health insurance, and a $20,000 living stipend for the duration of the full-time MBA program: no more than two (2) years, comprising four (4) consecutive fall and spring academic terms. Dean’s Premier Scholars also may receive a stipend toward an approved immersive global learning experience, such as a Global Immersion program or semester abroad.
Dean’s Premier Scholars are matched with a Fordham University alumnus or alumna who serves as the student’s Executive Mentor throughout his or her time in the full-time MBA program. Many of these mentors are members of the Gabelli School’s Advisory Board and/or the University’s President’s Council.
The Dean’s Premier Scholarship is awarded solely based on merit. It is grounded in the Jesuit ideal of developing scholars and leaders who will share their talents with the world for the common good. Dean’s Premier Scholars have a record of academic excellence; strong leadership skills and the ability to put ideas into action; a demonstrated commitment to service, community, and society; and character and integrity that define their personal and professional life.
Applicants who are being considered as finalists for this scholarship may be invited to New York City in the spring for the Dean’s Premier Scholarship Selection Weekend. The schedule typically includes a personal interview with selection committee members; meetings with faculty, alumni, and current students; and social events.
To be considered for the Dean’s Premier Scholarship, candidates must submit a completed application to the full-time MBA program no later than the Round 3 fall admissions deadline. Your application for admission also serves as your scholarship application. No additional application is required.
