Events & Coronavirus

Updated at 5:30 p.m. on 6/4/20

The Office of Undergraduate Admission will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our visitors. For a live update, see the University’s information page.

On-Campus Events
All on-campus events have been suspended through August. Currently, visitors are not being granted access to our campuses (whether by foot or in a vehicle). We'll notify you as soon as we're able to welcome visitors and resume our visit program. While we acknowledge that nothing can replicate the feeling of being on our campuses, our team will do everything we can to get you the information you need.

Re-Opening Campuses
We anticipate opening our campuses to visitors in stages: first for self-guided tours by appointment; then for information sessions for small groups; then for modified tours guided by student ambassadors; and then for larger events. For each stage, we will follow government and University guidelines and adapt as necessary.

Virtual Events
In addition to our existing virtual tour, we have developed a number of virtual events, replicating much of the information and features of an in-person visit. Explore your options and register now. We'll continue to add more.

Visit Later
If you would like to make plans well in advance, you can register for our fall open houses, Open House (for high school seniors on October 17-18, 2020) and Fall Preview (for high school juniors on November 14-15, 2020). We'll let registrants know if our plans for these events need to change.

We are ready to answer your questions and help any student with their college search or selection process. Your admission counselor will be reachable most readily via email, but you can contact them and request a phone appointment, too. Here are some other ways to connect with us:

We hope that we will be back to normal operations in the near future and that we have a chance to meet you here in NYC!
