Events & Coronavirus

Updated at 9 p.m. on 3/15/20

We understand that the coronavirus is a cause of concern for many people. Please be assured that the Office of Undergraduate Admission will continue to monitor the outbreak and its impact on our visitors. For a live update, see the University’s information page.

On-Campus Events
All on-campus events have been suspended through the end of April. We'll notify you as soon as we're able to welcome visitors and resume our campus visit program. While we acknowledge that nothing can replicate the feeling of being on our campuses, our team will do everything we can to get you the information you need.

Virtual Events
In addition to our existing virtual tour, we have developed some virtual events, replicating much of the information and features of an in-person visit. Some events are already posted on our Virtual Events calendar -- you can register now -- and other options are coming.

Visit Later
Our summer events are posted on our On-Campus Events calendar, if you would like to make plans well in advance. You can also register for our fall open houses, Open House (for high school seniors on October 17-18, 2020) and Fall Preview (for high school juniors on November 14-15, 2020).

For the current status of our campuses and any impacts on our campus visit programs, return to this page. As you consider joining the Fordham community, you might also want to see what’s being done for our current students, faculty and staff.

Contact Us
The Office of Undergraduate Admission is ready to answer your questions and help with the college selection process for Fall 2020 applicants and the college search process for high school sophomores and juniors. For the months of March and April, admission counselors will be reachable most readily via email. Their contact information can be found here. Since some of the team will be working remotely, phone calls may not be the quickest way to reach us, however, we do have a rotation of team members ready to answer urgent phone inquiries. Here are some other ways to connect with us:

  • Attend a virtual event where an admission counselor will be available to chat with you during the session
  • For admitted students and families: ask a member of the community in our social media group
  • For general questions, email our admission account at
  • For financial aid questions, email
  • For virtual visit questions email

We hope that we will be back to normal operations in the near future and that we have a chance to meet you here in NYC!
