Resident Director for First Year Students
Kristopher joined the Office of Residential Life team January 2018. He currently supervises and leads 12 student staff members in McKeon Hall. Kristopher enjoys fostering a residential community where students are supported, appreciated, engaged, and included. Additionally, he promotes the importance of experiences outside of classroom--which ultimately creates a dynamic "adventure" throughout a student's higher education journey.
Kristopher is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University (EMU) where he obtained his Masters's in Educational Leadership - Higher Education/Student Affairs. He earned his Bachelor's in Technical Writing with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in 2013. During his time at EMU, he worked as a Graduate Hall Director and gained more student affairs/higher education experience through internships: Rutgers University-Newark (ACUHO-I intern) and University of Michigan (Student Services intern). As an undergraduate at UCA, Kristopher worked as a Resident Assistant and held several other student leader positions. Prior to joining the "Ramily", Kristopher worked as a Community Director at the University of Arizona. His professional interests include supporting, being an advocate, and providing safe space for marginalized students/communities: students/people of color, indigenous populations, LGBTQIA community, low socioeconomic students, and first-generation students.

Joe Corcoran, M.A.
Resident Director for Upper-Class students
Joe joined the residence life staff in the summer 2016 as a Resident Director for First Year Students. In this role, he supervised 12 student staff members in McKeon Hall. Joe took a holistic approach to student and community development and workedto ensure that McKeon hall is a transformative space for first-year students' academic, personal, and professional growth. Beginning in summer 2020, Joe will be the upper-class resident director in McMahon Hall.
Joe is a 2016 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) where he received his Master's in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and a 2012 graduate of the American University (AU) where he earned his Bachelor's in Journalism with a minor in International Studies. Throughout his time at IUP, Joe worked in the Office of International Education where he coordinated programs and events for international students and scholars, while interning in residence life at both IUP and at the University of Pittsburgh. As an undergraduate student, Joe worked extensively with the transfer and commuter student communities, studied abroad at New York University (NYU) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and spent a semester living in Montevideo, Uruguay. His professional interests include student leadership and empowerment within underrepresented communities, transfer and commuter student engagement, and LGBTQIA issues in higher education.
