New Faces and Appointments
Kyle Cardona joins the Teaching and Learning Environment (Media Services) group via New York University. Kyle worked at Fordham as a User Support Specialist for many years. Kyle brings his extensive knowledge of computer skills and management capabilities to his new position as Audio-Visual Digital Media Technologist at Lincoln Center. Kyle’s technical expertise will be an asset in the ever changing digital classroom environment. Please welcome Kyle Cardona back to the Fordham family as he assumes this new position.
Anthony Marx is a Network Operations Tech at Fordham University. Anthony, has been in the IT Field for 14 years, and brings a wide variety of experience, in a multi platform network environment. Anthony previously worked as a NOC Network Engineer providing over 400 companies network troubleshooting as well as integration of network security. Before that, Anthony worked at TD Bank as a Field Engineer maintaining all network equipment. Anthony is passionate about technology, and looks forward to continue acquiring knowledge to better his technical skills. He loves to play all kind of sports, traveling and reading the Bible. Anthony is an active volunteer in his community, and his goal is to help those in need, especially during critical times that are hard to deal with.
Anthony Tandoi joined the Network and Engineering Group on June 5, 2017 as a Network Engineer. He has joined Tiffany & Company, Met Life among others where he gained quite a bit of experience. His expertise in multiple fields such as, Business Continuity, Technology Integration, Large Scale Rollouts, Campus Data Centers and Branch Offices, Routing, Cisco WAAS, Strategic Planning and Networking in general made him eligible to become part of our group. Anthony received his BA from Hunter College and graduated Cum Laude in the field of Health Education.
Kyle Cizenski joined the IT Project Management Team as an intern in 2015 and transitioned to a Project Manager / Business Analyst role in May 2017. He attended Fordham College Rose Hill as an undergrad and graduated with a B.A. in economics in May 2017. In addition to his work with the Project Management Team, Kyle has been a Resident Technology Consultant, Library Tech Assistant and a member of the back to school IT Team while completing his studies at Fordham.
Edward Kidney began working at Fordham in 2014 as a consultant from ASI, where he held the position of Senior Systems Engineer for 12 years. During his time at ASI Ed specialized as a Microsoft Certified Deployment Expert in Microsoft Deployment Tools (MDT) and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for many midsized to large enterprise organizations. Before that Ed worked at IBM for 15 years as a Customer Engineer. ED holds the following Certifications: Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Certification, Microsoft Certified System Engineer MCSE, Microsoft Certified System Administrator MCSA Server 2012, Microsoft Certified Professional MCP- Deploying Windows Desktops, Servers and Enterprise Applications.
Richard Eberhardt started working in the Fordham IT Systems group in 1998. He holds two Fordham degrees - BS in Computer Science and an MBA. He has recently moved into the Strategic Planning and Innovation group as Director of Innovation & Change Management. Working with Calvin Byer, they form the Innovation and Change Management team. Their purpose is to ensure smooth adoption of technology and cultivate innovation throughout the University with a focus on large scale IT initiatives.
When new technology services are launched, the change can be overwhelming. With the design and implementation of technology training programs, Calvin Byer's mission is to lower the learning curve for faculty and staff. Facilitating interactive workshops, webinars and instructional videos, he helps to maximize Fordham's adoption of new technologies. Leveraging over 15 years of IT experience, working in corporate finance and higher education, he enjoys the challenge of helping audiences of various backgrounds to embrace the benefits of change. His goal is to be the catalyst for enhancing the quality of Fordham's work and academic experience through new and innovative technologies. Calvin received his B.A. in political science at New York University, along with his M.A. in Elections and Campaign Management at Fordham University.
Nerry Lennon has joined the IT Business Office team as the Office Manager/ Onsite Facilities Liaison for One Fordham Plaza. Nerry has been temporarily serving the Fordham community in various roles before transitioning into a full time employee. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this new position. She has a deep interest in sustainability, gardening and volunteering. She is a member of the New York Botanical Gardens and has previously volunteered in the Rose Hill garden here on campus.
Daniel O'Connor joined the IT Project Management Team as a Senior Project Manager. His Information Technology career has been within the financial services industry with a focus on risk management platforms. Dan has built and led global technology teams performing application development, quality assurance testing and production operations functions. Dan received a Bachelor of Science from St. John's University and a Master of Science from Hofstra University.
Yadira Jaen started working at Fordham University as a Hardware Technician Consultant in the IT department. Recently she joined Fordham University as a User Support Specialist. Yadira has more than 10 years experience working in the IT field. Before Fordham she worked for 5 years as a Field Technician Consultant for the New York Department of Education. She has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the Technological University of Panama. She is looking forward to grow within the company.
Wilson Colon started working at Fordham University in July 2011 and is now, transitioning to the Head of Enterprise Foundation Services, assuming the role from Richard Eberhardt. Before Fordham, Wilson was a Systems Engineer at Stamford Hospital for 5 years and Systems Engineer at Monroe College for 7 years. The Enterprise Foundation Team oversees many of the critical basic services of the University, from virtual infrastructure to Active Directory, as well as IaaS with Azure and Rackspace. Wilson received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Monroe College.
Beth Ansaldi joined the IT Project Management Team as a Project Manager in February 2017. She has been at Fordham since 2011, completing her PhD in Biological Sciences. Beth has served the Fordham community as Lecturer, Teaching Fellow, Teaching Associate, Vice President of the Biology Graduate Student Association and Co-Director of the Women in Academia Graduate Student Association charter group. Prior to Fordham, Beth received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Kalamazoo College of Michigan.
Sergio Boniche joined the IT Project Management Team as a Project Manager / Business Analyst in February 2017. He has over 25 years experience working on and leading projects and programs. In his former roles at IBM, he worked on developing policy, optimizing processes and leading global teams. Area’s of focus included, application development, business controls & compliance, business transformation, financial management, HR, & leadership development. Sergio received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University, Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
Jason Lerner started working at Fordham University in December 2014, and most recently, transitioned into IT as a Data Engineer. He has worked in Institutional Research for over nine years, and is experienced with providing high quality analysis and reports to academic communities. Jason received his Bachelor of Arts from California State University San Marcos.
