Biography and Research Interests

Ashar Foley is interested in issues of Composition Pedagogy, particularly for underserved student populations, labor history, and questions of (food) consumption and identity on YouTube.  Other commitments include Chief Stewardship of Fordham Faculty United for Lincoln Center Campus, literacy tutoring, and community food co op organizing.

  • This textbook is a web-based publication currently in use by the City University of New York College of Technology's First-Year Writing program. It is a collaborative and living document.
