These programs are best suited to students who possess exceptional motivation, emotional maturity, and a high aptitude for adapting to new environments. Students who apply for an exchange program should be self-starters, independent, and responsible. Students will need to consider the following:

  • The host university application is separate from the Fordham university application, and you are responsible for following up directly with the host university international office to ensure all application materials are submitted on time after receiving approval from Fordham's Study Abroad Office
  • Course registration is typically completed with minimal support from the host institution's international office and courses may not be confirmed until after arrival
  • Accommodations are arranged independently, with resources provided by the host institutions
