Video Auditions are permitted for students applying to the Performance Track.
Prospective students are strongly encouraged to attend one of the live auditions. However, if it is not possible, we do allow uploaded submissions. Please carefully follow the instructions below to ensure that your audition receives a proper review. If any of the steps are missed, your video may not be viewed.
Please note that we only accept uploads to Fordham's portfolio/audition site. We do not accept DVD or VHS submissions.
The university application deadline has been extended to November 15, 2018. Late applications will be accepted, but only on a case-by-case basis.
To submit audition materials:
- Register for a video audition and select an open time slot on January 30, 2019. Ignore the dates and times, this is just how the template is set up. Your video will NOT be reviewed without registering for a time slot on January 30, 2019. Once you have completed your registration, your page will provide us with all of your contact details, and the information about the monologues that will be in your videos. Post registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a non-refundable audition fee of $50. You must pay the audition fee in a timely manner, in order to have your video reviewed. Again, your video will not be reviewed without your registration.
In order to upload your audition materials:
- You must submit an application for admission to Fordham University, in order to upload your headshot/resume and video. Once you have applied, you will receive credentials to log into the Online Applicant Portal. Credentials will be sent after the Office of Admissions has acknowledged receipt of your application via email. Once you receive your credentials, please log in to the Online Applicant Portal, find the section called Portfolio or Materials. Here is where you will upload your headshot/resume and video.
For monologue requirements, go to the Performance Major Auditions page. Please do not send excerpts from productions: your audition footage, should as closely as possible, mimic the setting of a live audition.
Videos must be uploaded by:
For incoming freshmen and transfer students entering in the fall of 2019, video submissions must be received by February 8, 2019.
Individually Scheduled Auditions:
