Anthony Viceroy is the chief executive officer of WESTMED Medical Group, one of the nation’s leading multispecialty medical practices serving Westchester and Fairfield counties. An integrated, physician-owned medical group, WESTMED is renowned for advanced technology, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, coordinated clinical care, and a “one-stop-shopping” medical experience at its full-service polyclinics.
As a comprehensive multispecialty group, WESTMED’s more than 130 primary care physicians and 40 medical specialties provide care to more than 300,000 patients. Viceroy oversees the strategic development of the organization, which has consistently grown 20 percent per year, resulting in a current medical and administrative team of more than 450 providers and approximately 1,100 employees.
Having previously served as CFO of WESTMED, Viceroy brings to the position a strong fiscal background with deep knowledge in the containment of healthcare costs. Working with both payers and providers, Viceroy delivers patient-centered solutions to the challenges in an ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Before joining WESTMED, Viceroy spent 10 years at Omnicom Group, one of the world’s largest global marketing and communications organizations, as global president and CFO of Porter Novelli, a worldwide public relations firm within Omnicom’s diversified agency services division. In this position, Viceroy led business functions and operations to drive performance improvement and capture efficiency for global brands such as HP, McDonalds, P&G, SXSW, and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He joined Porter Novelli from this division, where he was senior vice president of financial management and client partnership.
Prior to joining Omnicom Group, Viceroy spent five years as the North American treasurer of the Danish biopharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk.
He is a certified public accountant and a charted global management accountant. He received his Executive MBA, specializing in global management and corporate finance, from Fordham University, and his BBA in public accounting from Iona College.
In addition to his membership on the Gabelli School’s advisory board, Viceroy is a member of the board and treasurer for The Bob Woodruff Foundation, which provides resources and support to armed services members, veterans and their families. He also sits on the boards of the Bedford Physicians Risk Retention Group, Inc., the Westchester County Association, and the Business Council of Westchester.
