Who is Eligible

College students and recent graduates are eligible to apply. Rising high school seniors with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or better are also welcome to apply (you will be asked to provide an unofficial high school transcript). Experienced actors and beginners are both welcome!

To Apply

  1. Fordham students should reach out directly to jboyd@fordham.edu to submit a 1-page cover letter and resume outlining your theatre experience and submit an audition video. You will be advised of next steps on your acceptance to the program.
  2. Visiting and High School Students should complete the registration form here.  Tuition is $3,780, and it is due at the time of registration.  If housing is desired, an additional $50 housing deposit will be charged (housing is charged separately - 2021 rates will be announced this spring. The 2020 rate was $1,297.50 for 5 weeks. Please note that high school students are not eligible for housing). Submit a a 1-page cover letter and resume outlining your theatre experience and aspirations and a video audition of a song via email to summerschool@fordham.edu.

Acceptance

When your application is received, you will receive an email notification. You will then be contacted by the director of the program to schedule an informal interview phone call. Students not accepted to the program will be fully refunded.

Cancellations

Cancellations of housing must be made in writing to summerschool@fordham.edu by May 14. Students who cancel housing after this date will be subject to full housing charges. Withdrawals from the class can be made in writing to summerschool@fordham.edu. The deadline to withdraw with a full refund is June 1. Thereafter, the refund schedule articulated on the Withdrawals and Refunds page will be followed.
