Student life is an integral part of the Fordham experience, whether you study at our Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, right across the street from The New York Botanical Garden, the Bronx Zoo, and the "real" Little Italy, or at our Lincoln Center campus in the cultural epicenter of New York City, just steps away from the lights of Broadway, Central Park and world-class visual and performance art.
You'll start to connect with campus life this summer, first through a series of mailings from Fordham students, and then from our Orientation Programs. At Orientation, student leaders will make you feel at home and show you the ropes on campus and in the neighborhood. You'll learn about all the clubs, sports and other happenings at Fordham. Whether you are a resident or commuting student, you'll be encouraged to jump into college life with both feet.
If you reserve early, you may be able to take part in this year's Urban Plunge, a community service program that takes place two days prior to Orientation. But even if you don't participate, upperclassmen love to tell newcomers about their experiences doing Global Outreach service in places as far away as Guyana and India and as close to home as the Bronx.
