Fordham University’s 2021 commencement will take place on May 22, 2021 from 10:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m. and will be entirely virtual.

Schedule of Events
10:00 a.m (ET): University Commencement
The main University Commencement ceremony will be videocast on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 10 a.m. ET on this web page. All graduates are encouraged to watch this ceremony with their families. During this ceremony, the deans of the University will present their graduates as a group and Father McShane will officially confer all of the degrees on our graduates. A guest speaker and honorary degree recipient will also address the Class of 2021. The speaker will be announced in the coming weeks.
11:00 a.m (ET): GRE Diploma Ceremony
Immediately after the University commencement ceremony, GRE will begin streaming our ceremony. During the ceremony, students will be recognized individually with their name aloud. Specific information for how to access the GRE diploma ceremony stream will be posted on this page by May 1, 2021.
Cap and Gown Rental
Although commencement is not interactive this year, graduates may wish to rent or purchase a cap and gown for their own photographs.
Cap and gown rental/purchase may be made by going to www.herffjones.com/college/fordham.
