Overview of the sophomore year integrated core

The integrated core is made up of two major sections, typically taken during sophomore year.

Business core phase one (typically fall semester of sophomore year):

  • ACBU 2222 Principles of Financial Accounting (3 credits)
  • MKBU 3225 Marketing Principles (3 credits)
  • INSY 2299 Information Systems 1 (1.5 credits)
  • CMBU 2664 Business Communication 1 (1.5 credits)
  • LPBU 3223 Principles of Management (3 credits)
  • CBBU 1002 IP 1 Consulting Project (1 credit)
  • SABU 2142 Statistical Decision Making (3 credits)

Business core phase two (typically spring semester of sophomore year):

  • ACBU 2223 Principles of Managerial Accounting (3 credits)
  • CMBU 2666 Business Communication 2 (1.5 credits)
  • FNBU 3221: Financial Management (3 credits)
  • INSY 2301 Information Systems 2 (1.5 credits)
  • SABU 4441 Strategy (3 credits)
  • One Elective (3 credits)

During phase two, students complete business core courses plus one additional course of their choice.
