New Student Orientation Staff at Lincoln Center

Dorothy A. Wenzel, Ph.D.
Senior Director for Student Involvement

A native of Queens, New York, Dr. Wenzel became the Director for Student Involvement in February 2006. As an undergraduate student at Loyola College in Maryland, Dr. Wenzel worked as an Orientation Leader and Coordinator. She is excited to be involved with New Student Orientation at Fordham University at Lincoln Center to welcome the new students to our Fordham family.

Daniel A. Patterson
Associate Director for First Year Experience

A Midwest Native, Daniel grew up in Illinois and joined the Fordham family in January of 2009. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa, and Master’s Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Daniel left the cold Midwest to work at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, before heading back east to work with New Student Orientation. He is excited to meet all the new Rams in the Class of 2025!

Hannah Howell, FCLC'23
New Student Orientation Coordinator

Hannah is a rising junior in the Ailey/Fordham BFA program. She is from Bloomfield, New Jersey and is absolutely loving living in NYC. When she isn’t dancing or working with the Orientation Team, Hannah can be found hanging out with friends, watching movies, listening to music, or reading a good book. Hannah can’t wait to meet the Class of 2025!

Ritamarie Pepe, FCLC'22
New Student Orientation Coordinator

Rita (or Roto, according to the Orientation Team) is a rising FCLC Honors Program senior majoring in Communication and Culture and minoring in Humanitarian Studies. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but now calls the Upper West Side her home. Rita is Co-Chair of Recruitment for the Lincoln Center Society, a proud former Peer Health Exchange Senior Health Educator, and a Global Outreach Cape Town 2019 project participant (and hopes to join another project before graduating!). Outside of Fordham, Rita can be found browsing bookstores, obsessing over One Direction, or working on her online publication, grain of salt magazine, with her friends. Rita is thrilled to welcome the Class of 2025 to the Fordham Ramily!

Stephanie Polakowski, GSB'22
New Student Orientation Coordinator

Stephanie is a rising senior in the Gabelli School of Business majoring in Global Business with a concentration in Marketing with Consumer Insights. She is originally from Dearborn, Michigan, and although she has a love for her suburban Midwestern roots, she has thoroughly enjoyed taking full advantage of city life throughout her time at Fordham. Stephanie is a tour guide and outreach ambassador for Lincoln Center Society, a Gabelli Freshman Mentor, and a member of Gabelli’s Dean’s Council. When not planning Orientation, she can be found listening to showtunes, reading mystery novels, and exploring the city with her friends. Stephanie is so excited to meet the Class of 2025 and welcome them to the Fordham Ramily!

Samantha Rizzo, FCLC'22
New Student Orientation Coordinator

Samantha is a rising Senior studying Music, Theatre, and Marketing at FCLC. Originally from Long Island, Sam has found her home away from home in Manhattan. Sam is currently Co-President of Splinter Group, FCLC’s only musical theatre troupe. She is also a part of Fordham’s Jazz Program, where she sings and plays the drums. Outside of her musical endeavors, Sam loves to bake and play video games. If you ever need a fellow nerd to have a book club with or a friend to grab lunch, Sam is your gal. She is so excited to meet the class of 2025!
