Photography

Developing a personal photographic vision, exploring visual communication, and aesthetic invention are the primary objectives of this concentration. After a two-course introduction, you may study documentary, digital, and/or view-camera techniques. Technical demonstrations, guided assignments, self-directed projects, lectures and films about the history of photography, and rigorous critiques are supplemented by field trips and guest artist talks by significant practitioners.
