Changes to Spring Academic Calendar Fordham is modifying its academic calendar in anticipation of a national resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic this winter. Full Details

Welcome from Dean Rapaccioli

Business faculty - Donna Rapaccioli

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business, where you will be challenged to excel in business and given the preparation you need to meet those challenges. The next four years will be unlike anything you have experienced before. Under the guidance of professors and deans who truly care about your success, you will develop a keen understanding  of global commerce, sharpen your writing and verbal skills, and cultivate a valuable professional network—all in New York City, the most exciting city for business in the entire world.

At the Gabelli School, you won’t learn only in a classroom. You will supplement your rigorous academic coursework with real-life experience as student consultants to local organizations, as interns for prominent firms, and perhaps even as the owners of businesses that you launch while still in college. “Learning by doing” is a hallmark of ours that you will perceive in action every day.

In four years, you will build a diversified portfolio of skills that will distinguish you in the eyes of employers. You also will learn how accomplished business professionals give back to the community and the world, so that you can become a living, breathing reflection of Fordham’s Jesuit tradition. From the moment you arrive on campus this fall, you will begin to discover your gifts and use them to transform yourself into one of tomorrow’s global business leaders.

I look forward to seeing you here at Rose Hill very soon!

With best wishes for a wonderful summer,
Donna Rapaccioli, PhD
Dean of the Gabelli School of Business
