Defense Intelligence Agency Undergraduate Training Assistance Program
DIA's Summer Internship Program provides promising undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain practical work experience in the areas of analysis, research, report writing, oral briefings, policy development, program management, and computer applications related to the intelligence field. Interns are appointed for a 10 to 12 week period from June through August, as full-time, temporary employees. Available to first-years and sophomores interested in public service careers.
UK Fulbright Commission Summer Institutes
The Fulbright UK Summer Institutes are three-to-four week programmes for US undergraduate students. Participants can explore the culture, heritage, and history of the UK while experiencing higher education at a UK university. Available to current first-years and sophomores. The Hertog Foundation Summer Fellowships are fully-funded, short-term seminars in Washington, DC on a variety of topics on politics, public policy, and foreign affairs for undergraduates and recent graduates. Candidates can tailor their summer education according to their individual interests by choosing to apply to one of the several one- to two- week course offerings or applying to the extended seven-week fellowship. Fellows receive a living stipend of $500-1,000 and additional support for housing.
