MSW/MDiv: Social Work and Divinity

The MSW/Master of Divinity (MDiv) with New York Theological Seminary is attractive for individuals who are working in a ministry setting and want to combine ministry with social work skills.

To pursue this dual degree, you must apply and be admitted to both the MSW program at Fordham Graduate School of Social Service (GSS) and MDiv program at the New York Theological Seminary.

Flexible Schedule

Seminary classes at the New York Theological Seminary are offered in the evenings. Social work classes at Fordham are held on Saturdays.

Seminary students can transfer 12 credits from the New York Theological Seminary's MDiv program to the Graduate School of Social Service's MSW degree program.
