BS/MBA Program

An MBA remains the gold standard for advancement in many corporations. Fordham completely revised its full-time MBA curriculum in 2014, creating new courses and business immersion experiences to give graduate students the skills that employers demand for higher positions at the Gabelli School.

This is a five-year program.

Dual-degree BS/MBA students first earn their Bachelor of Science in:

  • Accounting Information Systems
  • Applied Accounting and Finance
  • Business Administration
  • Finance
  • Global Business (Lincoln Center)
  • Information Systems
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Public Accounting

They then complete an MBA with a concentration in one of the following areas:

  • Accounting
  • Communication and Media Management
  • Finance
  • Information Systems
  • Management
  • Marketing

Students apply for the BS/MBA dual-degree in their senior year.

BS/MS Program

The BS/MS Program is designed specifically for students seeking CPA licensure. Taken as fifth-year programs, these allow accounting students to complete the additional 30 credits beyond an undergraduate degree that are required to sit for the CPA exam.

Dual-degree BS/MS students complete an undergraduate degree in public accounting, applied accounting and finance, or accounting information systems, and then continue for an MS in Accounting or Taxation.

Students who complete their undergraduate degree in public accounting or applied accounting and finance may also satisfy CPA educational requirements by completing a BS/MBA program with specific concentrations.

Students apply for the BS/MS in their senior year at the Gabelli School.
