Major or Concentration Specific Scholarships

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) funds the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship to support the education of students interested in pursuing a career in fraud examination.  

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) maintains a database of scholarships available to students studying accounting or an accounting-related field.

The Moynihan Fund Scholarship of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and its Foundation for Accounting Education honors deserving candidates who plan to enter the accounting profession.

The CFA Society New York gives undergraduate students the opportunity to learn more about finance and investing through its summer Scholarship, Education, Mentoring and Internship (SEMI) Program. The program is open to finance majors entering their junior or senior year.

Gender Specific Scholarships

The New York chapter of the American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants awards an annual scholarship to a deserving junior or senior on the basis of academic achievement and financial need. The national branch of the society offers a scholarship for students aspiring to become CPAs; the recipient receives the complete Becker CPA Review Course.

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are awarded to female undergraduate business majors who have demonstrated outstanding potential in the field.

Ethnicity Specific Scholarships

The Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) provides awards to encourage outstanding minority students to choose accounting as a major and to enter the profession.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund works with corporations to provide scholarship opportunities to undergraduate students of Hispanic heritage.
