2019 Senior Week Event Schedule*

May 14 | Senior Week Kickoff Event | Under the Bleachers | 10 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Celebrate the end of the finals and the beginning of Senior Week 2019 with Kickoff! Join us under the bleachers decked out in your finest Fordham gear for dancing, food, and drinks (with valid proof of age). Tickets are $20.00 per graduating senior.

May 15 | Senior Ball | Cipriani 42nd Street | 7 - 11 p.m.
Senior Ball is celebrating its fourth year at the world-famous Cipriani 42nd Street! Located right across the street from Grand Central Terminal, this iconic landmark location offers the perfect elegant setting for a night of dancing, a delicious selection of food, and an open bar (with valid proof of age). Tickets are $150.00 per graduating senior.

May 16 | Always a Ram Luncheon and Class of 2019 Photo | McGinley Lawn | 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Join Joseph M. McShane, SJ, president of Fordham University, and the Senior Week Committee to celebrate the new stage in your relationship with Fordham. You're almost an alum! Wear your maroon to pose for a memorable photo with the Class of 2019.
Tickets are complimentary and can be exchanged for your Class of 2019 memento.

May 16 | Ubuntu: Celebrating a Diverse and Inclusive Community | Butler Commons, Duane Library | 4 p.m.

Reflecting Fordham's deep and mission-driven commitment to creating a positive and affirming environment for all members of our campus community, this reception is an opportunity for graduating seniors, their families, friends, and supporters to celebrate the accomplishments, contributions, diversity, and promising futures of the 2019 graduates. Join the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs at 4 p.m. in Butler Commons, Duane Library.

May 16 | Gabelli School of Business Awards Night | McGinley Campus Center Lounge | 7 p.m.
Tickets: No tickets are needed for this event
Honor the academic achievements of your distinguished peers. This night acknowledges the accomplishments of Gabelli students who have excelled both in the classroom and beyond. Join the faculty at 6 p.m. in the McGinley Center Ballroom for a pre-event reception. A reception also follows the ceremony.

May 16 | Encaenia | Rose Hill Gymnasium | 7 p.m.
Tickets: No tickets are needed for this event
Encaenia is one of Fordham College at Rose Hill’s most treasured and colorful traditions. Modeled on the awards ceremonies of medieval universities, it weaves together reminiscences and hopes, and mixes in humor with the serious and noteworthy achievements of your classmates. A reception follows.

May 17 | Baccalaureate Mass | 6 p.m. (music begins at 5:30 p.m.) | Rose Hill Gym

The Class of 2019 and their families will gather to celebrate, remember, and look ahead. Give thanks for the many blessings of your college career and pray for blessings on your future journey. All are welcome.

May 17 | Parent Appreciation Dinner Dance | Martyrs' Lawn | 7:15 p.m. - 12 a.m.
The Parent Appreciation Dinner Dance is a perfect way to thank the people in your life who have supported you throughout your time at Fordham. With a buffet, live band, dancing, and an open bar (with valid proof of age), this event is always a grand celebration. Limit of 4 tickets per graduating senior including the senior's ticket (a waitlist for up to two additional guest tickets will be available). Tickets are $85.00 per person attending the event.

May 18 | University Commencement | Edwards Parade | 10 a.m.

Only graduating seniors of Fordham College at Rose Hill and the Gabelli School of Business at Rose Hill are eligible to purchase tickets to Rose Hill Senior Week events. This means, you must log in to University Tickets with your Fordham student credentials (email, password). No one else can purchase tickets for you under any other email account. Tickets to Senior Week events must be purchased in advance via the Senior Week website at starting in late February. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets will not be sold at the door of any Senior Week event. Students must present their current Fordham ID, a valid proof of age (passport, driver’s license, or military identification card), and, if required, an admission ticket at each Senior Week event.

Tickets are required for admission to the Kickoff Event, Senior Ball, and the Parent Appreciation Dinner Dance. Tickets for most events are limited to one per person. Up to four tickets, including the graduate’s ticket, may be purchased for the Parent Appreciation Dinner Dance on a first-come, first served basis. As communicated earlier to seniors, space is limited and tickets will sell out. Please also make note there will be additional service fees when purchasing your tickets.

Seating Requests for Parent Appreciation Dinner Dance

Please email the Senior Week Committee at should changes need to be made regarding your seats or tickets. Seating requests or adjustments will not be honored if the committee is not notified regarding ticketing changes. Review the Rose Hill Senior Week website at for the most up-to-date information regarding ticket sales, ticket distribution, and seating request timelines and information.


As with every University-sponsored event, no person under the age of 21 may possess, consume, or be in the presence of alcohol, except in officially designated spaces. Although alcohol will be available for purchase for students over the age of 21 during select Senior Week events, students are prohibited from bringing alcohol – or other outside food or beverages – to any event. If a student arrives at an event intoxicated, he or she will not be granted admission and will not receive a refund for his or her ticket. Any student who is observed to be intoxicated may be found in violation of the University’s alcohol policy. Conduct resulting from the consumption of alcohol that is in any way illegal or in violation of any other policy is also prohibited.

Please behave responsibly and be sure to make travel arrangements to and from all Senior Week events ahead of time. No outside food or beverages will be permitted within the event locations.
