Senior Week Frequently Asked Questions

How can I buy tickets for Senior Week?

Tickets will be available online February 21, 2020 at 9 a.m. Tickets can be purchased from our Fordham University Ticket portal.

How many tickets am I allowed to purchase?

One per senior for most events. There is one exception: PADD

Seniors can purchase up to 4 tickets for PADD, and also be added to the waitlist for two additional tickets. Students may not acquire more than 6 tickets per senior for the Parent Appreciation Dinner Dance.

What information do I need to provide when purchasing tickets?

First and last name of the Fordham senior student, their Fordham ID number and their Fordham email address. You will only be able to log into the University Tickets portal with the Fordham senior's email address; no other address will be allowed to puchase tickets.

When and where do I pick up my Senior Week tickets?

You will be receiving an email shortly after purchasing with your attached PDF ticket for each event.

You will need to print out the PDF ticket or have it available on your phone when checking in to each event. The Senior Week Committee will be scanning bar codes to ensure there are no duplicates. Seniors are responsible for making sure they have a copy of this ticket available upon entry. If you can not find your confirmation email, you can log on to fordham.universitytickets.com and go to your account.

Can someone else purchase my ticket for me?

Yes. The buyer needs the Fordham senior's name, Fordham ID Number and Fordham email address. It is essential that you gather this information because you will only be allowed to purchase tickets using the Fordham senior's email address.

How will I know if my Senior Week ticket purchase went through?

Once your ticket purchase goes through, you will be sent an order confirmation email with the attached PDF ticket(s).

What is the dress code for Senior Ball?

Senior Ball is a formal event. Students often wear tuxedos and long dresses or gowns.

Is transportation provided for Senior Ball?

No. Students must arrange transportation on their own. Cipriani is located across the street from Grand Central Terminal.

Can I bring a guest to Senior Ball?

As of right now, we are not selling guest tickets for Senior Ball. Please plan accordingly. These tickets will sell out so make sure you buy yours early.

What is the dress code for PADD?

PADD is a more formal event, but it is not a black tie affair. Business casual or cocktail attire is most appropriate.  It is important to note that the event itself takes place on a soft grass lawn, so be mindful of your footwear. Heels do not do well on the grass.

What if I have more than 3 family members?

In order to accommodate as many families as possible, seniors are permitted to purchase up to a total of 4 tickets. Seniors can request an additional 2 guest tickets for purchase by adding their name to a waitlist. These additional requests are subject to ticket availability and are not guaranteed. We pull parties from our waitlist on a rolling basis when we receive refunded PADD tickets, and we pull in order of when parties sign up for the waitlist. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to allow seniors to purchase more.

What do I do with my e-tickets to gain entry into the event?

You can either print out the ticket through the email that was sent to you or keep it on your phone. The Senior Week Committee will be scanning all barcodes on your tickets for entry into the event.

Do Rose Hill Seniors need a ticket to PADD?

Yes. Everyone attending needs a ticket.

I want to sit at the same/next table as my friend, but the seating chart filled up. Will I be able to sit near my friends?

All table requests are arbitrary and the Senior Week Committee reserves the right to rearrange any seating. On the day of ticket sales, University Tickets will ask you a series of questions before you check out. These questions must be answered in order for you to check out. At PADD, each table seats 12 people. Therefore, before ticket sales on February 21st, you will need to know who you want to sit with in your group. Before purchasing tickets, you will have to communicate with the other seniors at your table in order to designate a Table Captain. Once on the University Tickets website, you will see a dropdown menu that will ask you if you are the designated Table Captain. If you are the Captain for your table, you must then list everyone who you would like to sit at your table (e.g. John Smith, Guest 1 of John Smith, Guest 2 of John Smith Guest 2, Jane Doe, Guest 1 of Jane Doe, etc.). If you are not the Table Captain, you will only need to list the name of the designated Table Captain. You will then purchase the number of tickets you would like. Note that you will not be picking the location of the exact table where you will be sitting, that will later be assigned to your group.

We do our best to fulfill all of these requests, so you can expect your table to move around from the time you purchase tickets to the day of the event should your request not match up with your initial placement.

Should we move your table, you will receive an updated ticket to the event with the correct table number on it.
