Faculty Development Fall 2021
Course Catalog
Facilitators: Steve D’Agustino & Anne Fernald
For Fall 2021, we are continuing to group our offerings into a series of eight mini-courses. Mini-courses meet in three sessions, all on the same day of the week, and each one offers an opportunity to dive deeper into an aspect of teaching and learning. You can register for as many courses as you like, but when you register for a course, you should plan to attend all sessions and prepare to do some work (reading, reflection, and practice in your classes) between sessions. Each mini-course is designed for faculty members across all disciplines and schools and each will be offer opportunities to think about tools and techniques as well as strategies for access, equity, and inclusion. In addition to Anne & Steve, many will include guest facilitation, be it from faculty colleagues, instructional technology, or the library. Attendance in a course will be restricted to those who pre-register. Our hope is that this will foster deeper discussions and afford us opportunities to share our experiments as they unfold.
All synchronous sessions will be held over Zoom, either Tuesday 4:00-5:00 PM or Wednesday, 12:00-1:00 PM (note time change).
