Three students stand with Ramses, the Fordham Ram mascot

(l-r) Ethan, Ramses, Marielle, Kristian

Kristian Koprivica, GSB '21
New Student Orientation Coordinator

Kristian is a rising junior in the Gabelli School of Business, majoring in Global Business with a concentration in Global Finance and Business Economics. He was born in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and immigrated to the United States with his parents in 1999. Since then, he’s lived in Fort Lee, New Jersey and commutes from there while attending Fordham. In addition to coordinating New Student Orientation, Kristian is chair of the FUEL leadership program and business manager for The Observer, Fordham’s student-run newspaper. He loves hip-hop and even produces his own raps whenever he gets the chance. Kristian can’t wait to welcome the Class of 2023 to the Fordham Lincoln Center Ramily!

Marielle Sarmiento, FCLC ‘21
New Student Orientation Coordinator

Marielle is a rising junior majoring in New Media and Digital Design and concentrating in Commerce at FCLC. She was born in Manila, Philippines, but is proud to call St. Louis, Missouri home. When not coordinating orientation, you can probably find her next door at The Observer newspaper office, where she is the former Arts & Culture Editor and current Features Editor. Marielle is also a member of LC’s comedy club, Stove’s Cabin Crew, and the musical theater club, Splinter Group, but most importantly, she is the winner of the Battle of Fordham 2019. Incoming students might recognize her as a tour guide for Lincoln Center Society. Marielle’s favorite New York City past-times are strolling through Central Park, visiting new bookstores, and covering events for The Observer. Marielle is so excited to welcome the Class of 2023 to the Ramily!

Ethan Shamim, GSBLC ‘21
New Student Orientation Coordinator

Ethan is a rising junior in the Gabelli School of Business. He is majoring in Global Business with a concentration in Global Finance and Business Economics. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ethan is proud to say that he is a Yinzer for life. He has lived in East Brunswick, New Jersey for nearly fourteen years, but during the school year you can find him in the residence halls of Lincoln Center. When not planning your amazing Orientation, you can find Ethan singing as Vice President of the University Choir and attending other club events to get as much free food as possible. During his free time, he enjoys bowling, hanging out with his friends, going to see Broadway shows (after him or his Mom win the lottery), going for walks in Central Park, and visiting his friends and family in New Jersey (especially his Chocolate Lab, Cinnamon). Ethan is thrilled to meet the rams of the Class of 2023 and welcome them to Fordham Lincoln Center.
