January New Student Orientation at Lincoln Center
Join us for our Winter Orientation Programs!
Thursday, January 28, 2021
Are you a first-year student who was virtual in the fall semester but are planning on joining us in person in the spring? On Thursday, January 28 we will host an optional hybrid program to help acclimate you to the city and on-campus life. This program will include a variety of activities and sessions to help you understand what it's like to live in Manhattan while allowing you to start building a sense of community with your peers! Please see the schedule listed below:

1:30 - 2 p.m. | Resident Experience / Commuter Experience
2 - 2:45 p.m. | Tea Time with the Academic Deans
2:45 - 3:30 p.m. | Getting Involved [followed by a Student Panel]
3:30 - 4 p.m. | Small Group Meeting / Closing Remarks

January Orientation is designed for incoming transfer and first-year students for Spring 2021. This program will cover a broad range of topics to ensure your Fordham career is off to a great start. Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to hear from your class dean about academics at Fordham, learn about getting involved on campus, the Jesuit tradition, and more!

10:30 - 11:15 a.m. | Academic Orientation
11:15 - 11:30 a.m. | Resident Experience / Commuter Experience
11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. | Lunch
1:15 - 2 p.m.* | Admin Panel
2 - 2:30* p.m. | Getting Involved
2:30 - 3 p.m. | Student Panel
3 - 3:30 p.m. | CARE [Campus Assault and Relationship Education] Programming
3:30 - 4 p.m. | Small Group Meeting / Closing Remarks
*During these time slots there will also be academic advising sessions offered to students that request it

All times listed are in EST, so please note the start and end times of each session when signing up.
In order to register for your session of choice, you must make a Fordham University Tickets account. You may register with your my.fordham.edu account, or create a "General Public" account.
Please note that the number of available seats for each in-person option is limited due to current socail distancing guidelines, and so we will not be able to accommodate anyone over our capcity limit. Attendance will be checked upon arrival, so please come with your E-Ticket, or a printed out copy of your ticket with QR Code.
