Rose Hill Leadership Development
Fordham University offers a variety of leadership programming focused on holistic student development that students can participate in.
The Leadership Initiatives Committee, under the advisement of the Office for Student Involvement, serves the community by developing a campus environment where students complement their academic experience with co-curricular leadership opportunities outside of the classroom.
This four member student committee oversees Leadership Weekend (LW) and the Fordham University Emerging Leaders (FUEL) program. All four chairs oversee different aspects of the planning of the programs and give the student leaders experience in marketing, session development, activities, and logistics. Both programs incorporate a Heroic Leadership model, which is inspired by Heroic Leadership: Best Practices from a 450-Year-Old Company That Changed the World, (2005) by Chris Lowney, FCRH '81, GSAS '82.
