Senior Director of the Career Development Center
Dennis Grant sets the CDC's strategic direction, manages the CDC team and oversees all initiatives related to career programming, recruiting, corporate and alumni relations and faculty and university partnerships. Prior to joining the Gabelli School of Business, Dennis spent more than 25 years in the financial services industry in senior recruiting, business leadership, and trading roles.

Director of Career Advising
Industry Focus: Information Systems, Business Analytics, Applied Statistics
Ken Cavanagh advises students who aspire to careers in information systems, business analytics, data science, and business intelligence. His advisees include students pursuing the MBA with a concentration in information systems, the MS in Information Technology, the MS in Business Analytics, or the MS in Applied Statistics and Decision-Making. Before joining the CDC, Mr. Cavanagh was a Fortune 500 IT executive in multiple industries. He is a Certified Information Security Manager and a Fordham alumnus, holding a BA from Fordham College at Rose Hill and an MSIT from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Associate Director of Career Advising
Industry Focus: Finance, Consulting, Real Estate
Ellen Herman directly advises graduate students who seek careers in finance, consulting, and real estate. This puts her in close contact with students who are pursuing the MBA with a concentration in finance, the MS in Quantitative Finance, and the MS in Global Finance. Before she joined the CDC team, she was an investment banker on Wall Street. She holds an MBA in finance and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) as well as a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
Associate Director of Career Advising
Industry Focus: Marketing, Communications and Media, Management
Kim Lewis-Collins directly advises students who envision careers in marketing, media and communications, and general management. The students she serves are pursuing the MBA with a concentration in either marketing or management, the MS in Marketing Intelligence, the MS in Media Management, the MS in Investor Relations, or the MS in Business Analytics. Earlier in her career, she was a marketer and a business leader in various industries, including wireless communications, consumer products, travel, and financial services. Kim has an MBA in marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BFA in advertising from Syracuse University.
Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships
Maricel Piriz develops and maintains the connections with employers who hire Gabelli School students. She provides a wide range of creative ways for companies, alumni, and industry leaders to connect with Fordham and get to know our students. The impact of her work is felt in a great deal of the Gabelli School’s career-development programming. Before coming to Fordham, Ms. Piriz was assistant director of the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate at Columbia Business School. She holds a BS in business administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and an MPA in public and nonprofit management and policy from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
Manuela Rodriguez coordinates the recruiting experience at the Gabelli School on behalf of employers, from posting jobs to recruiting on campus. She also manages the CareerPath system and works directly with both students and employers to help them make the most of this resource.
Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager
Nathalie Quiroz is the CDC’s in-house data analytics and intelligence expert. She gathers, analyzes, and provides reports on key metrics such as recruiting activity and student career outcomes.
Career Technology Manager
Frank Graziano implements and manages the technological platforms and systems used by the CDC.
Patricia Colton is the CDC’s front line, coordinating career-development and recruiting events, sending important communications to graduate students, and providing administrative support.
