Barbara M. Porco
Executive Director

Barbara M. Porco is a clinical professor at the Gabelli School of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner in addition to being certified in financial forensics. A former director of personal financial planning at PricewaterhouseCoopers (C&L Legacy), she is now a consultant and educator to financial services organizations, hospitals, Big Four accounting firms, and regulatory agencies, including FINRA and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She was recently ranked among the Top 50 Researchers in Accounting Education in a list published by American Accounting Association, whose Teaching Innovation Award she received in 2016. She holds a PhD, MBA, and BS from Fordham University and a Masters in Liberal Arts in sustainability innovation and management from Harvard University. She is also Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the Gabelli School of Business.

Stan Veliotis
Co-Director

Stan Veliotis is an associate professor at the Gabelli School of Business. An active tax attorney and certified public accountant, he has published more than 20 articles in both academic and practitioner journals, among them Management Science, Journal of American Taxation Association, American Business Law Journal, Tax Notes, and Tax Lawyer. His practice career included law-firm experience and nearly a decade at KPMG and Ernst & Young. He holds a PhD from the University of Connecticut, an LLM from New York University School of Law, a JD from Fordham Law School, and a BBA from Baruch College.  He is also Chair of the Accounting and Tax area in the Gabelli School of Business.

Kelly Ann Ulto
Co-Director

Kelly Ann Ulto is a clinical assistant professor at the Gabelli School of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant. A former senior manager at KPMG in the financial service sector, she now specializes in teaching and training in the audit area to financial service organizations and Big Four accounting firms. She is currently an external professor for KPMG’s audit practice and serves as the master instructor for their national new hire audit training. She has received various awards and recognition for her teaching and serves as the faculty adviser for Fordham University’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi. She is an active member of the AICPA and sits on various committees related to the CPA exam. She holds an MBA from Iona College and a BS from Fordham University.

Lonnie Kussin
Administrative Officer

Lonnie Kussin is the Senior Assistant Dean for the Gabelli School of Business in the Graduate Advising and Student Engagement Office.  Prior to Fordham, he worked as an account executive in the sports industry for the New York Islanders and later as a consultant for the Yankees Radio Network.  He recently completed his Educational Doctorate at Fordham's Graduate School of Education and holds an MBA from Fordham University and a BS from Cornell University.
