Application and Admission Process

This past academic year proved to be yet another cycle of excitement, challenges, and change in the already complex world of college admission and counseling. However we are pleased to share that, at Fordham, the past year was very successful. We owe much of that to your support and the great work that you do in finding students who are the right fit for our programs and campus community. In some ways, the coming year is shaping up to be even more challenging, and we will continue to rely on your significant partnership with us.

We welcomed more than 2,160 students to both the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses. They are a talented a diverse group who hail from 42 states and 45 countries. 89% are in the top 25% their graduating classes and achieved admission in a highly selective, holistic admission process in which we accepted 46% our applicants. Early indicators from faculty and deans are that this class is academically prepared, committed and engaged already in our community and classrooms.

Starting with the Fall 2017 admission cycle, Fordham will be employing only the Common Application.
