Introducing Fordham Law’s Professional Track LLM

A flexible executive master’s program for busy, foreign-trained lawyers/law graduates.

The Professional Track LLM program is perfect for working global practitioners whose professional demands prevent them from completing a traditional nine-month LLM residency.

Students in the program can become eligible to sit for the New York State bar examination by completing the degree in two years.

How It Works

Begin your studies in August or January.

Complete your first 4.5-month semester.
Return home for up to 15 months.
Come back to Fordham for your second 4.5-month semester.
Receive your degree!

Return the following August.
Complete the program in December.

Degree Requirements

• Complete at least 24 credits.

• Complete the degree requirements within two years (in order to become eligible to sit for the New York bar examination).

Students in the Fordham Law Professional Track LL.M. program will not be eligible for Optional Practical Training when they graduate.
