The Fordham Institute for Women and Girls and IHAN (International Health Awareness Network) co-sponsor a conference celebrating four major UN anniversaries: “The UN Matters”.

Specifically, the 4 anniversaries that occur this year are:

  1. Global Compacts on Migration and Refugees (1 year)
  2. Security Council Resolution 1325 (20 years)
  3. Beijing Conference - Women Rights (23 years)
  4. Convention of the Rights of the Child (30 years)

Presentations will focus on what has been achieved and what still needs to be accomplished, particularly in Sustainable Development Goals.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to those who request it.
