GSAS Policy Updates and Resources Student Resources
Fordham IT has consolidated a range of incredibly useful information on its Remote Learning for Students website to help ensure that your transition to remote learning is as smooth as possible.
Mental Health and Wellbeing
As a Fordham graduate student you are still entitled to the same campus resources relating to well-being and mental health. With this in mind, the GSAS has created a well-being and self-care resources page. This page is intended to serve as both a map of Fordham mental health and wellbeing resources that are available to you, and a list of online resources (e.g. virtual health, meditation, yoga and fitness classes, podcasts, support call and text lines, mental health strategies and information, etc.) that you might find useful.
Professional Development Resources
GSAS Futures, the Preparing Future Faculty program, and the Office of Career Services are continuing to support graduate professionalization through a range of support resources and services. For graduate students seeking resources to guide their transition to remote instruction, please visit the COVID-19 Transition Resources pages available on the website of the Preparing Future Faculty program. Graduate students can also access career pathway information, and resources to enhance their career readiness, by visiting the GSAS Futures web page. Additionally, we encourage students to get in touch with the Office of Career Services to access one-on-one sessions with career counselors and to learn more about resources, opportunities and virtual events available with the office. Please click here to access a presentation on tools and strategies to assist job searching graduate students, put together by Bizu Solomon, a Career Services Graduate School Specialist. We welcome you to contact Bizu and her colleagues by visiting Handshake.
