About University Health Services

Vision

We recognize that many Fordham University students face pressures balancing academic responsibilities, extra-curricular responsibilities, internship responsibilities, financial issues and stressors related to achieving long-range goals. The University Health Services has a role in helping the student understand and cope with these issues in a “healthful” way so they will have a successful college experience. The University Health Services works in partnership with Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS), the Office of Substance Abuse Prevention and Mental Health and Disability Services, to provide a variety of health related services to the campus community. These services include primary health care such as treatment for acute illnesses, women’s and men’s health care, treatment of minor injuries, public health issues and mental health concerns. In providing these services, we place an emphasis on health education, illness prevention, and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. The staff of the University Health Services is available to provide quality educational presentations with a focus on taking personal responsibility for one’s health and wellness.

These services include:

  • Primary Health Care
  • Urgent Care
  • Physical Examinations
  • Nutrition Counseling and Weight Management
  • Women's and Men’s Health Care
  • Travel Health
