Lesley A. Massiah-Arthur
Associate Vice President and Special Assistant to the President for Government Relations
Lesley A. Massiah-Arthur is Fordham University’s Special Assistant to the President on Government Relations and Associate Vice President for Government Relations & Urban Affairs. Lesley previously worked for the New York State Assembly Committee on Ways and Means. Lesley is a 2009 Coro Fellow who earned her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York At Albany, her master’s degree from Fordham University, and professional certificates from Yale University and the University at Michigan.
Bill Colona is Fordham University’s Director for Government Relations, Federal & Urban Affairs. Bill previously worked in the US House of Representatives for Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey, the Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee. Bill earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and his master’s degree from Georgetown University.
Casandra Gomez is Fordham University’s Project Coordinator for Government Relations & Urban Affairs. Casandra previously worked at Purchase College as the Assistant to the Dean of the School of the Arts. In addition, Casandra has served in administrative roles at Teachers College and Columbia Business School. Casandra earned her bachelor's degree from Boston College and her master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Cierra S. Bakhsh
Cierra Bakhsh is the Student Assistant for the Office of Government Relations and Urban Affairs. Cierra earned her bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in 2020 and is a candidate for a master’s degree from Fordham in 2021. Her studies are focused on Global History.
