Fordham University brought a slice of the Bronx to the heart of the Midwest with a high-impact experiential activation in Columbus, Ohio, during the 2025 NACAC Conference, the largest annual gathering of high school college guidance counselors.

Bringing NYC to Ohio
One Slice at a Time

Fordham took over a local storefront directly across from the convention center and transformed it into an authentic NYC-style pizzeria featuring custom pizza boxes and themed decor.

Offering a complimentary taste of New York City, Fordham successfully incentivized hundreds of high school counselors—the ultimate gatekeepers in the college search process—to step away from the crowded convention hall and into an environment that felt authentically Fordham.
