On-Campus Recruiting for Employers

The Campus Recruiting (CR) Program is designed to provide representatives from private, not-for-profit, and government organizations the opportunity to interview Fordham students for internship or full-time entry-level positions. Please contact the office well before the recruiting cycles begin.

Best Practices Guide

The Career Center at Fordham University has developed a Best Practices Guide forCampus Recruiting in order to make your experience with us a more productive and positive one! This Best Practices Guide will help us to better serve your recruiting needs, as well as the needs of Fordham University students and alumni.

Changes in Scheduling
If there are any changes to be made to your schedule after it has been arranged forCampus Recruiting, we ask that you give us at least two days notice. Please keep in mind that students re-arrange their class schedules and exams in order to attend interviews, and last minute changes can result in student cancellations and a disruption to academic studies.

Consolidation of Schedules
If you need to consolidate your schedule due to time constraint, please contact the Career Center at least two days prior to your interviewing date. This will allow our office the proper amount of time to make the changes, and it will provide students enough time to re-arrange their schedules as well.

Recruiters Interviewing On-Campus
Please be sure to share reservation and scheduling information internally, between parties who make the reservations and those who are conducting the interviews, prior to coming on-campus. This will help avoid any miscommunication or confusion the day of the interviews. We also ask that you contact the Career Center prior to your event with the names of recruiters who will be conducting the interviews on campus. If you are doing your own scheduling we ask that you share your schedules with our team at least 2 days prior to interviews, to ensure a seamless day of check-in.

Pre-Selecting Students
Once the resume submission deadline for students has passed, it is now your responsibility to review all resumes submitted and “pre-select” students that you would like to interview on-campus. Please make sure to check your event to ensure that you meet "Employer Pre-Select" deadlines. Our Campus Recruiting Program is only for Fordham students and recent alumni.

The Day of Your Interviews
As a courtesy to you, the Career Center will provide a folder for you containing copies of your interview schedule, along with the resumes of the students you have chosen to interview. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first interview, so that you may review your schedule for the day.
