Vanessa Beever

Vanessa Beever is the senior director of Fordham University in London. She is a dual-qualified English solicitor and New York attorney with a significant international practice background, having practiced law in both London and New York.

Beever has extensive leadership experience in higher education institutions in London, having held a variety of roles including as a deputy dean and director of teaching and learning, as well as having designed and lectured on law programs. She has particular expertise in the development of international programs and dual awards. She is a passionate advocate of international education opportunities and the use of experiential learning and immersion to develop students’ intercultural competence.

She earned her LLB from the University of Bristol and an LLM in international business and trade law from Fordham University’s School of Law. She is a member of the board of the Association of American Study Abroad Providers in London.
